The disappearing and the never ending

You know that feeling you used to get when all your house chores were complete, when you had successfully ticked off all the items on your 'To Do' list for today? You know that sense of accomplishment you felt when there were no more clothes in the dirty washing pile or the dish rack was totally empty? 

Those feelings are quite foreign now as I have come to realise that some things in this Mum life are never ending. The pile of washing, the 'To Do' list, the shopping list, the 'people to text' list. And I only have 1 child!

I have also discovered there is a whole new category in life now, and that is 'the disappearing' items. I am not sure where these items disappear to. Things like dummies, baby spoons, bibs and socks. There must be a family of mouse somewhere stockpiling for a rainy day, or a nest of birdies sleeping on Toby's warm socks. If anyone knows where these disappearing items are, feel free to let me know.
